Please
disseminate this letter from our National Commander to all
of our members. This is a very important issue pertaining to
aircraft access located throughout our State. If anyone has
input for local issues of access, please let me know so they
can be documented and shared appropriately.

Iowa
Squadron Receives $3,000 Wal-Mart Donation |
 Capt.
Michael Oerregaard, commander of the Iowa Wing’s Cedar Rapids Senior
Squadron, receives a check from $3,000 from Jonna Hoy, assistant of the
Coralville Wal-Mart Super Center, to support Civil Air Patrol search and
rescue missions and disaster relief in Iowa. The grant will be used for
much-needed photographic equipment, mapping software and computer
equipment necessary for airborne photography missions, which in the past
have included photography of flood and tornado damage to assist county
energy operation centers and the National Weather Service. |
